A climbing tour on the 2,117m high Hundstein mountain is a real challenge. When you reach your destination, you will not only be rewarded with an extensive panoramic view, but you will be able to indulge in regional treats and refreshments at the Statzerhaus, which is a popular meeting place for hikers and cyclists.
During the summer you can head off on the “Königswege” long distance hiking trail, which becomes a playground for skiers during the winter. The 74km trail leads past old farmsteads and rustic alpine huts in four idyllic stages from Maria Alm, via Dienten and then onto Mühlbach. You will be constantly accompanied by breathtaking views of the majestic Hochkönig mountain.
